The two halves must be joined together by welding in the diagonals and uprights, and the removable rear engine cage needs to be assembled. This kit also requires the front and rear suspension components to proceed with the assembly. Berrien's newest chassis, the 112" wheelbase Encore, features the same styling as the Cruiser knockdown kit. But with all the extra features you expect in a partially assembled tacked kit or fully welded Berrien chassis. If you need more headroom it can be ordered 3" taller for an additional charge of $150.00. The spacious cockpit is 44 1/2" high & 51 3/4" wide, so there is plenty of room for 4 seats.
